Xantelasma is a skin condition which can typically occur around the eyes and is characterized by yellowish, flat, round papules. These are anaccumulation of cholesterol deposits.

Xantelasma will not resolve on its own and treatment is required. Fortunately, the treatment for Xanthelasma is simple and safe around the eyes, since it is non-laser energy. Sylfirm X uses RF micro needling to deliver heat energy with micro needles to destroy the cholesterol deposit. Typically 2 sessions is required, about 2 weeks apart.
